In 2014, a buddy and I were on a smoke break talking about work and how management thought we were idiots.

“It’s just diminished trust.” I blurted out.

We both stopped. Looked at each other.

“Killer band name!”

So we ran with it as a joke. Fake band, fake concerts, inside jokes. Never actually made anything.

Later that year, another smoke break. He was complaining about how cold, dark, and wet November is.

“Kinda like my ex.”

Same look. Same moment.

“Great Song Name! November’s Like My Ex. (Cold, Dark and Wet)”

Still just a joke.

Fast forward to 2025. I found Udio and started messing around making dumb songs. Then I remembered the band.

So I sat down, actually wrote lyrics, tweaked them with AI, and after a few hours it was real.

Diminished Trust now exists.
